1. “Getreidegasse” the “High Street” of Salzburg where you’ll find brands like H&M, Zara & co.
2. For fans of classical music: the birthplace of pianist “Mozart” located right in “Getreidegasse” mentioned above.
3. Carpe Diem Fine Finger Food
Big surprise. After I’ve been to NYC and visited super chic and creative restaurants, I’ve never found something comparable in Germany. But in Austria though! Carpe Diem Fine Finger Food has the most delicious small food plates (lots of vegetarian choices!) I’ve had since the USA. Plus the place was exactly how I like it: dark, steamy and chic. The menu, however, offers different courses with optional four or seven dishes (but you can also order them separately), personally I would always go for seven since the serving is tiny and there are lots of different meals that sound tasty as hell!
