Van Gogh Museum

When we think of an artist, we usually picture a crazy recluse with an obligatory long-haired beard. A man who is used to speak more to himself than to any other living creature. A man who would cut off his own ear during one of his mad phases. A man who would spent many of his days in a nuthouse. And you’ve probably guessed right, everything mentioned above perfectly fits the profile of this insanely talented artist called Vincent Van Gogh.
But there certainly is more to him than you would think. Did you know that Van Gogh didn’t start drawing until the advanced age of 26? Despite, he achieved to be one of the greatest modern artists ever known! Above that, instead of buying food for himself, he used to buy painting utensils! That is what I call committment!

You’ll learn about this or that when visiting this gorgeous museum, presenting some of Van Gogh’s most extraordinary paintings that will take your breath away. At least they took mine.

I put my heart and soul into my work, and I have lost my mind in the process.

…and then, I have nature and art and poetry, and if that is not enough, what is enough?
