Oktoberfest

For me, Oktoberfest is like a defective puzzle. Some pieces fit right away some don’t at all. That, of course, might not be a common comparison for the German folk festival. I adore the tight fitted waistline and playfulness of a Dirndl (traditional ensemble as seen in the pictures) which will make you feel extra attractive. Plus, there is an endless number of possibilities how to combine the pretty pieces.
Speaking candidly, however, I dislike all the rest about it. To say it’s crowded and loud would be an understatement. To say brass music is one of a kind, even so.
Thankfully, there is an adequate number of fewer visited after-parties to attend which have nothing in common with noisy, repelling conditions but everything with being fashionable dressed in “Tracht”!
