The ability to find enjoyment in something hitherto unknown is a great thing to have. Yet, coming back to beloved basics and getting indulged in them, all the same.
What I meant to say is whenever visiting Rome, I learn to admire it more.
One pivotal reason for that simply is because I love architecture (I used to sneak in art history lectures during my first semester at university but pssst) especially ancient, baroque and classicistic designs and there’s A LOT of them in Rome. So, it came as no surprise that you’re likely to have a fancy for some smashing piece of architecture, no matter where you look at.
